Decided to stop by to grab some lunch. It’s a pretty clean and well-maintained restaurant where they’re selling spices from Jamaica and other things. Placed to go order for jerk chicken, rice and peas, cabbage, and some plantains. Overall the jerk chicken was really good and juicy so I appreciated that. The rice and peas are the usual for every Jamaican restaurant. The cabbage was okay. The lady that took my order was really nice.

I think Jay’s Caribbean restaurant has the best and most delicious jamaican food I ever had. The jerk chicken was on point and great portion for lunch with great price. Beef patty was delicious as well. Customer service can be a bit better in my opinion. I am asian and love to eat all kinds of foods and jamaican food is one of my favorite

Family owned business. This is definitely not your generic watered down chain type of food. This is food cooked like how your grandmother would have made it! Tender and with a lot of flavor.

Great Jamaican food. This was our 1st time in this restaurant. It was for a takeout. We had Curry Chicken & Curry Goat. Comes with steamed cabbage & plantains. The spice ratio was perfect. Also the bean rice was perfectly cooked. Will certainly recommend to family & friends for great food, service & atmosphere.

Sub par food I am not sure why this restaurant has such good ratings. The food is not very good. I ordered breakfast on one visit. The porridge was very salty. Ackee and salt fish just ok. I went back and ordered jerk chicken. What a mistake that was. I could have made a much better jerk chicken. Not to mention all of the horrible sauce that was put on the meal. I will not be ordering from this place again.

I have been going to Jay’s Caribbean Cuisine for several years now, and I just realized,I have been doing them a disservice by not leaving a review. The owner is a warm, friendly person that puts everyone at ease as soon as you enter, the restaurant is bright and cheerful. Her staff is funny, polite and let’s not forget the food. WONDERFUL I pop in three or four times a week. Take my advice, go there.
